Andrew gets laid, single X post

If you don't want to read about non explicit gay sex, you know what to do.

After a couple of decades or more of staring at each with desire but never speaking, the guy who worked for the same company as I did, although in a different area, around ten years ago I found him on social media, and e-communication began, but we both had partners and it was never going to be easy to hook up.

We connected online again a few years later, and then a few more years later.

Two plus years after Ray died, I suggestively messaged him again after a long time of not doing so. Great to hear from you, he replied. I am in England, Channel Islands actually and I won't be home for about five weeks. Every few days we would keep the candle burning by messaging each other. I must say, I waxed and waned about meeting him. At my age I am no longer driven by hormones, a blessed relief but he was very convincing and I guess I was too. A week and a half after he returned we met for coffee near his home, and then adjourned to his place for some fun. I had no confidence that after all this time, it would work but hey, it did and went really well, with both hunger and passion.

We may just see each in a friendship way and/or maybe a repeat session. I don't know and don't care too much. He is a nice guy and I would be happy to see him again socially, and as I left his place and walked down High Street, Northcote, I was chockablock full of endorphins and in such a relaxed and dreamy state. I caught the tram back to town and I needed something at QV (shopping centre).

Oh my god. I could hardly move to trudge up the hill to QV. I was absolutely exhausted, and all of my joints were aching.

For those in the know, I did take PrEP before I met him and I will for the next two days, as I was told to by my doctor.

As I am writing at nearly 9pm, I still feel exhausted, although more relaxed.

I think doing the biz with passion and energy is best left to the young, but I have no regrets about today. I am just too old and lazy to make it a habit.

I hired a male sex worker for my 70th birthday. It didn’t go as planned

I am not 70, so it is not about me. It was a column written in our newspaper The Age. You can perhaps read it here.

The story is about a 70 year old single but sexually experienced woman who paid an extraordinary amount of money to hire a sex worker, something like AU$1300 for 3 hours, plus a few hundred for a hotel, for her 70th birthday present to herself. It wouldn't be much of a story if it all went well, would it.

Older women and sex is something that enters my curious mind, curious in both senses. In my opinion she overegged the blancmange. She was trying to buy an emotional experience resulting in sex. She spoke to the bloke before hand more than once. She found they had things in common. She liked the sound of him and liked his looks. She was concerned about how he would react to her 70 year old body, and she should not be. It is a commercial arrangement. She made great preparations at the hotel before his arrival. While it remained all very polite and civilised, she realised it wasn't working and asked him to leave, which he did.

The next day she called him and asked for a refund, which he did. She took no blame and decided it was his lack of professionalism. Maybe, maybe not.

But honestly, why did she do it in such a hard and expensive manner? She lived alone so I kind of get why she wouldn't want a sex worker in her home. Why wouldn't she be content with a quick fuck with a hot rent guy for an hour in a motel room? If it was a gay man, it might be over in 30 minutes. I suppose it was a birthday present to herself and she wanted to go the whole hog a romantic experience. I don't think that is something that is you can buy.

The author mentioned a film with a similar theme. I have not heard of the film but it sounds interesting, Good Luck To You, Leo Grande. It stars Emma Thompson, so that is one positive, the second being the male actor Daryl McCormack, is quite attractive. Have you heard of it or seen it? I want to see the film and from my investigations, the easiest way is using YouTube for the cost of $5.

Mother's Lusts

No one wants to think about their parents doing the biz but they must have, and as our own children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews won't want to think about us doing the biz.

While I am old, I have my memories of doing rather too much of the biz when I was younger. Now I am old and jaded but I do still have a strong interest in the biz.

Naturally I don't think of my mother as being a sexual person, and I remember Mother saying to me her parents must have done the biz at least once to conceive her. Maybe her parents were like animals on heat?  Who knows.

As I said, we don't want to think about it really.

Like her Number 1 son, Mother did get rather excited by male pop stars and actors of her time.

Bad boy Johnny O'Keefe was one.

Gene Pitney. (Not a bad song really)

Ryan O'Neill in the tv show Peyton Place.

Australian pop star John Farnham. Extra good when she received a wave from him as his taxi sat next to Step Father's car, along with she and Step Father dining at the same pub at a coastal holiday area.

And then there was her doctors. She had a regular doctor who she had a love/hate relationship with. She called him Doctor Dumbo because he couldn't fix her old age age problems. If Doctor Dumbo wasn't there she would see an Indian or Sri Lankan born doctor. "I couldn't concentrate. He was so handsome, so nicely dressed, beautiful thick black hair and had the most beautiful large liquid brown eyes".

Sexy Sporting Saturday

I did not know the rather delightful Stefano Tsitsipas has a brother here competing in the Australian Open. I'm sure Petros is a nice fella, but he doesn't quite have the appeal of his older brother. He looked nice enough with long hair but now, not so much.

We have a new hope for Australian tennis with a possible rising star one Alexei Popyrin.  Not too shabby at all. His press conference after a surprise win was a delight of emotion.

To note, as Andy Murray won against an Australian player (no, I won't name the player because as you know I would not resist misspelling his name) he is assuredly a Scottish tennis player, not a British or English player as he may have been if he lost. Don't worry Brits. We do the same with New Zealanders. But the match finishing at 4.05am! I would have jet lag for a week. It seems absurd but must be good for somewhere in the world to watch. A daytime match in England, it seems.

Meanwhile a great Australian athlete has been accused of taking performance enhancing drugs. Whether he did or didn't, once an sports person is named publicly it's gonna stick. Peter Bol is an athletic runner. Footage was shown of him and others running.

I remarked to R how runners' knackers are certainly strapped down now. Funnily the story's reporter, Matt Shirvington, was also a running athlete back in the days when junk was not quite as contained.

Not quite as impressive, but nor was Finish runner Markus Poyhonen very contained.

Perhaps I should have called this post Old Man Sleazy Saturday. I've never watched athletics and a few years ago I did watch a tennis match on tv.

The weekend visit to Daylesford 1

Phyllis had nails on for his weekend away. I knew he had painted himself with some brush on gold. It isn't showing in the original photo...
