As I said, some photos of the view of the hotel rooftop. We'll begin with East Sydney, or is it Darlinghurst. I've never worked out the difference.

Great views.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed my visits to Sydney. Last time we stayed in a hotel overlooking Circular Quay and the Opera House. I spent a long time looking out of the window!
I must check where that is. Looking down on the trains and ferries, and now trams would be cool.
DeleteIt's lovely to be up so high and see such splendid views.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and be well, my dear.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually quite nice series of views from rooftop. I haven't tried photographing that
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trip! I'll never travel there so it's been fun to tag along with you.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great city but I wouldn't want to live there anymore. I lived there from 1949 to 1963
ReplyDeleteI looked up why Sydney is called Sydney...after Thomas Townshend, the 1st Viscount Sydney, who was the British Home Secretary at the time the first British colony was being established in Australia.
ReplyDeleteNow I know.
DeleteSome great shots.
ReplyDeleteInteresting enough, but not a lot of Jacarandas that I could see. If ours in Adelaide bloomed I didn't notice, I didn't even see dropped flowers on the footpaths. I have eaten at the revolving restaurant and at the one here at Glenelg too.
ReplyDeleteThey haven't bloomed yet here.
DeleteI just heard yours are beginning to bloom now.
DeleteNice collection of photos and I love the colour of the Jacarandas.
ReplyDeleteLovely rooftop captures!
ReplyDeleteThe weather looks nice.
ReplyDeleteLoving the jacarandas!
ReplyDeleteWhat views you had, Andrew. It must have been cool at night to look out at everthing lit up.
ReplyDeleteI think I recall your post about the revolving restaurant.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Strayer, don't put anything on the shelf next to the windows. You will be separated from whatever you put there
DeleteWe've been talking a lot lately, about going back to Australia!
