Nothing to wonderful today as I join with Sami and others for Monday Mural. I give you the mostly moustached men of Balaclava. I wonder if nicely painted shop fronts might look better.

A hair raising experience looking at all that facial lip foliage.
ReplyDeleteJayCee, rather more facial foliage than I like.
DeleteWhat an interesting theme. I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteA good question EC. There was also a controversial image painted and was soon removed after protests.
DeleteMovember theme murals?
ReplyDeleteRoentare, an even better alliteration, Monday Mural Movember Moustaches. I should have saved it for November.
DeleteWhat an interesting theme. I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteAnything original to say YP?
DeleteWhat an interesting theme. I wonder why?
DeleteThanks. That's better.
DeleteI like these a lot for some reasons; some great faces up there.
ReplyDeleteReally Bob? Do any look like you or Carlos?
DeleteInteresting, though I'm not a fan. The last one made me laugh with the 40% off entire baby. I understand the sales advertising, but out of context it's hilarious. Be well!
ReplyDeleteDarla, it's a bargain at 40% for an entire baby.
Deletelol
DeleteAnybody anyone would know?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe so Kirk.
DeleteAll we need is the Hair soundtrack, don't we?
ReplyDeleteGive me down to there hair
DeleteShoulder length or longer
Here baby, there Momma.
In the olden days, I drove to wonderful Balaclava and did all my shopping there. Now I only buy stuff at local shops, within easy walking distance from home.
ReplyDeleteHels, I suppose shopping for a family meant you needed a car, but you must have hopped the 3 or 16/69 at times.
DeleteThese are different Andrew.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I did warn, 'Not too wonderful'.
DeleteI don't like them. If I was the type to have nightmares I'd worry, but thankfully I don't.
ReplyDeleteI don't either River. I'd rather see nicely painted shops.
DeleteNot the most attractive, particularly the last three. Beauty and the beholder, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteJB, there is certainly a theme but I have no idea what it is about. Not attractive at all. Best not to look up when in the street.
DeleteDocumenting the streets, as they are.
ReplyDeleteTP, and hopefully not killed by Google again.
DeleteThat is all quite odd, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly beautifying, is it Pat.
DeleteMy favourite would be the 4th one. I wonder if they portray local residents. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite possible Sami, but I don't recognise anyone.
DeleteThe murals are well painted, but the guys are so ugly ! BTW it's amazing but Nicole is still beautiful, you would never think that she is dying ! She still has her lovely face without wrinkles only the eyes have no expression anymore.
ReplyDeleteGattina, they are of very plain appearance. So very sad about Nicole.
DeleteIt seems like many of them are by the same artist. Are they local characters, or famous people I don't recognize? (I think I see Elvis in one of the more detailed murals, fourth photo, second face from the left.)
ReplyDeleteSteve, they are not famous enough for me to recognise them. If could be Elvis. Unfortunately the CCTV camera is in the way.
DeleteI did not know you worked in public transport. I learned something new:) The pictures were fascinating.
ReplyDeleteSandra sandracox.blogspot.com
I did indeed Sandra. I am quite proud of my career in public transport.
