Just a couple of notes for those unfamiliar with Melbourne.
The dodgy little depot at the bottom of Bourke is a huge, cavernous and unpleasant bus and coach terminal next to and linked to the suburban, regional and interstate railway station, Southern Cross.
Myki is our public transport stored value card.
Bolte is the Bolte Bridge, named after a former Premier.
I give you ABC Melbourne Radio presenter, the brilliant Sammy J.

Sadly the sound on my PC is acting up and I couldn't hear it.
ReplyDeleteIt has subtitles EC and to the tune of Chattanooga Choo Choo.
DeleteBolte was a shocker :( I would have named a named a gaol after him.
ReplyDeleteHe was a pretty horrible man Hels. Yes, a gaol or something nasty should have been named after him.
DeleteThat is so funny. Love the tunes too
ReplyDeleteHe is a clever man, Roentare.
DeleteThat is hilarious and very cleverly done! Debby
ReplyDeleteThanks Debby.
DeleteI love it!! Laughed out loud and will smile all day when I think of it.
ReplyDeleteRiver, and meanwhile, we are without a train to the airport. Glad to amuse.
DeleteWe will probably all be dead before it gets done Andrew! It is funny that video.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, we may be, but I think Sammy J might see it completed.
DeleteYou've got to laugh or you'd cry!
ReplyDeleteI know JB. The airport was planned with a station in the plans. Nearly sixty years later, so many promises have been made and there still isn't a train.
DeleteIt took about 50 years for Washington Dulles International Airport to be connected to the City of Washington. The airport is closer to West Virginia than it is to Washington DC.
ReplyDeleteYes TP. I did follow up on Dulles airport after watching a YT clip, or was it you mentioning it?
Deletelol
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it Darla.
