A Felon

"Daddy, what's a felon?"

"My boy, he is someone who has committed a serious crime."

"But our last President is now being called a felon, so he committed a serious crime?"

"Yes, my boy, he did. He has been convicted by our courts after legal proceedings".

Silence.

"Daddy, why is he so popular when he is a bad man?"

"Son, some things in this world we are just not meant to understand."

Caricature by Nora Gad.

    1. EC, don't we we all want to see him cuffed and in prisoner gear and taken away.

    1. I hope not Fun60. The US needs to rebalance itself with an inspirational leader with enough power to make the wrongs right.

  5. What a nightmare ... And not just in the USA. Very serious crimes were committed in many other countries :(

I liked what I once read. In America we have freedom to...

  6. How true. So many criminals are not in jail but perpetrating their crimes with gay abandon. (Anguish close to my heart at present!)

    1. Quite true JB, as is happening here. I am sure there is quite a story behind your last sentence.

  8. He's the best felon. He was guilty of 100% of the charges. No failures there.
You couldn't ask for a better felon. The sleeze factor is amazing. The dishonesty is so consistent

    1. Kylie, yes, such a high felon achievement. We can individually list his flaws, but to generalise, he is a terrible person and deserves to be locked up.

  13. Nora Gad's caricature is quite brilliant. The original meaning of the term "felon" was "a wicked person" which seems very apposite for Trump. Throw in "vile", "crafty" and "narcissistic" and you have got him in a nutshell.

  15. Explaining this awful evil orange sub-human with the dead ferret stapled to his head to a child is an enormous challenge. And the millions who worship at his smelly feet. ( I hear he stinks from every pore in his body)
