I'm joining it with Sami and others for Monday Mural.
I think I took these in a lane off Little Malop Street in Geelong. They are pretty damned good in my opinion.

It wasn't hard because I could do it while standing. Kosov was most impressed with my tool skills once he arose from bed at 2.30pm. At ...
I agree with you. I think they are excellent.
ReplyDeleteThanks EC.
DeleteThe Stalker
ReplyDeleteAndrew I think this work… was done by Rone….the same bloke who has the exhibition in the Flinders Street Ballroom at the moment . He also had an exhibition in Geelong in 2021 ..
Maybe Stalker. The male has a name SMUG on it but that could be someone's tag. We walked along Flinders Street a couple of days ago and you should have seen the queue to see the exhibition. Did you have to queue?
DeleteYes the other bloke is Adnate.. did some research such clever artists both have exhibited overseas as well
DeleteWe only queued for a couple of minutes because we arrived before our appointed time
You choose a time and then you can stay as long you like .
The music was written especially for the exhibition…haunting and reflective
Stalker again… and .Rone’s photography is brilliant
DeleteOnce again I am amazed at the excellent perspective and detail in such large pieces. I don't know how they manage it. Great talent and much underrated by so many.
ReplyDeleteCaro, I don't know how they do it, mind I couldn't even hope to make a smaller version.
DeleteI wish I had a talent like that.
ReplyDeleteHels, you have talents in other areas. Stick to them.
DeleteThe eyes are quite expressive.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Very much so Dora.
DeleteThe mural of the boy was painted by Matt Adnate, great artist who paints a lot of Aboriginal faces. The girls are by Tyrone Wright aka Rone. Not sure about the bearded man. Great murals Andrew, thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sami. I've put up his murals before. He is very talented. So Anon above is correct about Rone.
DeleteThe artist has done a great job by painting these amazing murals to feature faces...
ReplyDeleteI thought so Amila. Thank you.
DeleteEven if painted by different artists I like the contrast between the young and the old. The ‘wonder what’ look is evident in their eyes
ReplyDeleteCathy, don't they really have a far away look in their eyes. You should enlarge the boy mural. He has liquid eyes. Amazing.
DeleteThose really are very nice. The eyes are really quite riveting, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed Debby. As I said above, enlarge the photo of the boy's eyes.
DeleteVery, very life-like, wonderful! Thank you, I sure "studied" the faces.
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris, friend of Sami and Grace I think.
DeleteVery interesting faces.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jim. Sometimes you don't appreciate a work until you study the photo.
DeleteThey are pretty good!
ReplyDeleteApproval from River!!! 😉
DeleteThe variety and skill shown in murals is really amazing. I especially like the boy.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Mae, yes very skilled artists, especially Adnate's work. Thank you.
DeleteI believe they are works by Adni the legend artist? Great mural indeed
ReplyDeleteWell Roentare, I think two artists have been established fairly well. I don't know of Adni, or do you mean Adnate?
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent. Easy on the eye.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good find Strayer.
DeleteVery good,
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteVery good!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteVery good murals, they are very talented
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteI was taken by the wrinkles around the older man's eyes and cheeks. Brilliantly done.
ReplyDeleteA person of the land perhaps B & E.
DeleteOh yes, they are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAll the best from Austria,
