There is some interest in what I described as girlie pants.
Girlie pants is just a name I used when I was helping Kosov shop for four pairs pants for Phyllis, and I find they are too feminine. But that's just my opinion. He likes them and is entitled to dress as he likes and I wouldn't want to change him.
This is what I mean. They are fairly close fitting at the top but flare out wider the further you go down the leg. These are a bit restrained pattern wise compared to some he wears. They only cost between $15 and $20.

I like your attitude, I would help someone dress how they would want too, have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHippie pants I used to wear them in the 80s and 90s . Except they had wide elastic at the ankle ..Cool school . Though that pattern is a tad boring. Very fashionable among alternative people . Good for loungi g about Andrew, with polished nails and pair for night time plus your Grosby slippers Andrew add patchwork shawl for warmth and you are set!
ReplyDeleteAll I can think is how comfortable those look. lol Did you enjoy your shopping excursion? Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first read "girlie pants" I thought you meant some kind of frilly knickers. "Young people!" I thought to myself. Not to say: "Kinky!"
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe also some wondering about the older person and your menage generally.
There's a guy i watch on instagram who wears a mix of women's and men's clothing. I usually think the look would be better with one or two less items but in general its just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI hope Phyllis has as much fun!
I would only wear them in my apartment to lounge and do housework. I like to be comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI have seen women wearing men's clothes and so what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
ReplyDeleteI would wear these. Look so comfy.

They look comfy. Are they styled just for men - larger waist and length plus fly - or unisex with full waistband. If they do mail order could you email me the company details please. Address on my ‘about’ page. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThey look comfortable and to me, like pyjamas.
ReplyDeleteI shall have to check and see if our "Harbourtown" still has a Valley Girl outlet, I could use some new pj's.
ReplyDeleteAs marcellous says above, "pants" to me are knickers so I had a similar vision in my head when I first read "girlie pants"! Relieved to hear that he is wearing something altogether more comfortable.
ReplyDeleteAre they what's called 'patio pants' for lounging around the pool?
ReplyDeleteI wonder what kind of top will go with that.
ReplyDeleteVery jolly! I thought you meant underwear . . . 🙁
