Thank you. Muchly.
ReplyDeleteJust for you, EC.
DeleteOh I needed this Andrew. Last time I saw a balloon I was spellbound. By the ocean. Beautiful day. And the bridge and groom stepped out of it. I was absolutely enchanted. So much so I forgot to take a photo. I actually cried.
ReplyDeleteWell done!

WWW
Wow, WWW. That must have been such a special moment to witness.
DeleteI love that first photo. The light, the colours, the clarity. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks JayCee. I do try a bit with balloon photos.
DeleteHow good that you capture these hot balloons in city
ReplyDeleteRoentare, I took so ok photos this week as I couldn't sleep and I was awake at 5.30.
DeleteThat first picture makes the yellow balloon seem as if it is glowing. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDebby, I think the sun was just right for the photo.
DeleteLove the photos; I once rode in a hot air balloon in Albuquerque.
ReplyDeleteBob, Ray gave me a voucher for my 50th for a balloon flight. It was very interesting.
DeleteAlways love seeing hot air balloons, I don't think I have ever seen any in Adelaide.
ReplyDeleteRiver, I think most of your balloon flights are over the Barossa Valley.
DeleteP.s. having a second look at your new fridge I can see there might be a problem reaching the two small cabinets above it. Do you have a good sized stepladder?
ReplyDeleteI do have a step ladder but it is a bother to get out. I now use the milk crate Ray used to keep his washed but not ironed clothes in. However, well spotted. That is where my breakfast cereal is stored and I discovered the problem of my arms not being long enough this morning. I opened the fridge door to get me closer and then I could reach my cereal. I am not sure if this is sustainable.
DeleteMove the cereal and use those cabinets for things you only need once a year.
DeleteI have done that now, River.
DeleteGood to see the balloons, colourful they are.
ReplyDeleteYes Margaret. I am always pleased when I see them. The novelty has not worn off.
DeleteIt looks like those balloons are going to get tangled up in trees, but I'm assuming there's a clearing not evident in the picture.
ReplyDeleteKirk, yes there are sporting fields. Even so, it is hard to imagine how six balloons can land in a fairly tight space, but they do.

ReplyDeletegood to see balloons. They always flew over Bath on Sunday, that is if the wind was right. Bristol always had a balloon festival.
Thelma, sadly they cannot fly over London though because of airport restrictions. A balloon over London would be magical.
DeleteI am going to be "unusually kind" once again as I say - Magical images Andrew!
ReplyDeleteTa.
DeleteA ride in a hot air balloon is still on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteDo it soon TP. Bones break more easily when you are older.
DeleteThey always look magical to me even in a photo, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite an experience Pat, but a one off for me.
DeleteBeautiful pics! Did you just come across them in your archives?
ReplyDeleteI have a folder with a few balloon photos for a rainy day, Steve. They are not very old.
