  1. Oh I needed this Andrew. Last time I saw a balloon I was spellbound. By the ocean. Beautiful day. And the bridge and groom stepped out of it. I was absolutely enchanted. So much so I forgot to take a photo. I actually cried.
    Well done!

  4. That first picture makes the yellow balloon seem as if it is glowing. Beautiful.

    1. River, I think most of your balloon flights are over the Barossa Valley.

  7. P.s. having a second look at your new fridge I can see there might be a problem reaching the two small cabinets above it. Do you have a good sized stepladder?

    1. I do have a step ladder but it is a bother to get out. I now use the milk crate Ray used to keep his washed but not ironed clothes in. However, well spotted. That is where my breakfast cereal is stored and I discovered the problem of my arms not being long enough this morning. I opened the fridge door to get me closer and then I could reach my cereal. I am not sure if this is sustainable.

    2. Move the cereal and use those cabinets for things you only need once a year.

    3. I have done that now, River.

    1. Yes Margaret. I am always pleased when I see them. The novelty has not worn off.

  9. It looks like those balloons are going to get tangled up in trees, but I'm assuming there's a clearing not evident in the picture.

    1. Kirk, yes there are sporting fields. Even so, it is hard to imagine how six balloons can land in a fairly tight space, but they do.

  10. good to see balloons. They always flew over Bath on Sunday, that is if the wind was right. Bristol always had a balloon festival.

    1. Thelma, sadly they cannot fly over London though because of airport restrictions. A balloon over London would be magical.
