Monday Mural

I'm joining in with Sami and others for Monday Mural.

These might be the oldest murals I have in my mural photo folder, 2021. They must have been taken within our Covid five kilometre 'exercise' boundary. The first one is a bit interesting.

  1. Perhaps it is my age, or I have led a sheltered life, but I don't understand any of them. 🤔

    1. Except Sami, I don't think the toucan colours are correct but it it's not bad.

  12. Nice to see that the first one incorporated those prison barred windows. No doubt there are convicts within regretting that they stole loaves of bread and a couple of sheep.

  13. YP, while it seems random, as some convicts were treated very harshly, others were made freemen and given land or were employed to utilise their skills, they went on to make Australia what it is now, for better or worse. There were few women in the early days, so the sheep stealers became very fond of sheep.

  16. I like the colours too. I rarely understand what murals mean but try to get a message from them - probably not the right one.

    1. Pat, I am similar. Sometimes I don't even see what is in my own photos until someone mentions something.

  18. The third picture makes the mural look like it's resting against the building instead of being part of it.

  19. The colours are beautiful but I wonder what if in a thousand years time if aliens arrived on our planet with all humans gone what they would make of them.

    1. Thelma, maybe the planet would not have a living animal or plant and this will be what they think what earth looked like, everywhere.
