I'm joining in with Sami and others for Monday Mural.
These might be the oldest murals I have in my mural photo folder, 2021. They must have been taken within our Covid five kilometre 'exercise' boundary. The first one is a bit interesting.

What would Christmas be for me without my annual posting of the tipsy Kim Wilde and her brother on a train to Cockfosters (school boy snigge...
Perhaps it is my age, or I have led a sheltered life, but I don't understand any of them. 🤔
ReplyDeleteMeant to say, I like them but don't understand the artist's message if there is one....
DeleteFrankly JayCee, nor do I.
DeleteI do love the colour and often the quirkiness that murals provide.
ReplyDeleteEC, good or average, the artists all make an effort.
DeleteWhere is this mural, Andrew?
ReplyDeleteI've absolutely no idea Hels. I roam, meaningless at times and see things.
DeleteKinda drawn to the second one, though I love the colors in both photos!
ReplyDeleteBob, I wish a taken another photo of the face at the end of the second mural.
Deletethecontemplativecat here. Murals are so impressive. It takes a real artist to do this!
ReplyDeleteIt does CC, and I like the effort they go to.
DeleteThat is a good mural that I have yet managed to get it in my records
ReplyDeleteDo you know where it is Roentare? We haven't crossed over yet, which is surprising, and I am sure we will.
DeleteOoh! I wish my artistic skills were a fraction of these. Be well, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteMe too Darla. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
DeleteI like the first mural very much.
ReplyDeleteMy preference too, River.
DeleteThey are all lovely, first one my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI agree Margaret.
DeleteI lie the first one - the colours are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou are right JB. The colours are great in the first mural.
DeleteI like the first mural with the toucans. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew.
ReplyDeleteExcept Sami, I don't think the toucan colours are correct but it it's not bad.
DeleteNice to see that the first one incorporated those prison barred windows. No doubt there are convicts within regretting that they stole loaves of bread and a couple of sheep.
ReplyDeleteYP, while it seems random, as some convicts were treated very harshly, others were made freemen and given land or were employed to utilise their skills, they went on to make Australia what it is now, for better or worse. There were few women in the early days, so the sheep stealers became very fond of sheep.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by "fond" Andrew?
DeleteNot bad at all. There’s a bit of information online about the artist Bailer
ReplyDeleteYes, there often is and sometimes I look up the artist.
DeleteI do like the colours. We probably all see different things in these murals.
ReplyDeleteFun60, quite good use of colours really.
DeleteI like the colours too. I rarely understand what murals mean but try to get a message from them - probably not the right one.
ReplyDeletePat, I am similar. Sometimes I don't even see what is in my own photos until someone mentions something.
DeleteSort of a tropical fantasia, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good description Steve.
DeleteThe third picture makes the mural look like it's resting against the building instead of being part of it.
ReplyDeleteKirk, it really does. Remarkable.
DeleteBlue and beautiful! Aloha
ReplyDeleteThanks Cloudia.
DeleteThe colours are beautiful but I wonder what if in a thousand years time if aliens arrived on our planet with all humans gone what they would make of them.
ReplyDeleteThelma, maybe the planet would not have a living animal or plant and this will be what they think what earth looked like, everywhere.
DeleteI too liked the first one.
ReplyDeleteIt is better than I thought before I published it, Pradeep.
DeleteThe murals are very artistic, must be talented painters ! I like them all, they have different styles !
ReplyDeleteThanks Gattina. It seems they are better than I thought.
DeleteI love murals. And agree that first one is interesting.
ReplyDeleteYOU, have a good day.
Sandra sandracox.blogspot.com
Thanks Sandra.
DeleteGreat murals, haven't been up to much myself but you've been in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteXO
WWW
Thank you WWW. Btw, the Auden poem was very appropriate.
DeleteThat bailor.com.au website was interesting. I went off last night after reading this to look up Melbourne street art. I forgot to come back and leave a comment.
ReplyDeleteI must have a look myself then, Debby.
