Im Peach him

I like.

I would never call anyone ugly, unless I judged them as uglier on the inside than there obvious external old and plain visage. What a shocking and despicable human being. I bet he would kick dogs out of his way.

To black people in the US, no matter the obstacles put in your way, please get out there on election day and vote 'correctly'.

  1. I am still shocked that he ever reached the position he attained the first time around, let alone is still permitted to carry on as though nothing is wrong!

    1. Me too JayCee. As I've read, in Democrat voting areas, there can be very long queues to vote. That goes for poor areas too.

  2. Ugly on the outside and ugly on the inside too. This narcissistic, ill-informed bully is making a mockery of the US legal system which would-be presidents and other political representatives should respect and uphold with vigour. How can someone who actively encouraged a seditious assault on the US Capitol ever be considered for high office? It beggars belief.

    1. YP, indeed how is it possible? More worrying, how can people actually vote for him?

  3. There are many political leaders in the world who are totally unacceptable in democracies, but I suppose it is not our business what the citizens of other countries do on election day. If they even have elections.

So Thump is not much worse than other countries like Turkmenistan, Syria, Iran, Yemen, North Korea, Hungary, Afghanistan etc etc. But what North Korea does hardly impacts on the rest of the world. What Thump did and may do again... does :(

  5. My daughter was in Afghanistan. I was working nights. On election night, as the results trickled in, I was sick, just sick. On break, I checked my instant messages and there was a message from half way around the world. My daughter said, "What. In. The. Actual. Fuck. just happened?"

I had to reply, "I couldn't tell you."

It just felt like the lunatics were running the asylum.

Now, after all these years, what have we learned? Well. We have learned that there are people in power that should not be in power. Their desires are for themselves and not for the people they serve. The orange asshat has shown a bright light into the corners and we see them all caught in the glare of that light like a bunch of rats. We know exactly who we have to get out of office for our government to function. And, one by one, they will fall because I believe that evil does not triumph. It may seem that way, for a while, but true evil does not win. But now that he is poised to win the Republican nomination, it is disheartening to see, once again, republicans toadying up to him.

It's not only the blacks, Andrew. I cannot understand any woman that would vote for him. Anybody of the LGBTQ set.

    1. Tick and tick to both groups...and especially women, Debby. He has never shown any respect whatsoever towards half the country's population, in fact worse.

  8. How can this ridiculous, dangerous game show host be so popular? He has no respect for democracy, for women, for morality. It looks as though he's going to be the leader of the free world again - it beggars belief.

  9. In spite of all of this, I have faith the path will be corrected. My ongoing concern is for his cult. What the hell America? Is it poor education? Non-universal health care? Evangelistic Xtians? - or tick all those boxes. But seething resentments lie underneath his election and adoration fueled by these rightwingers only in the electoral process for greed. And please! Get rid of your former slave owning Electoral College. Hillary won the popular vote in 2016 FFS.

    1. WWW, Electoral Colleges make the voting system incomprehensible to me. I will express that I have a weak feeling that he just may not get there, for whatever reason.

  10. The dread many of us feel, to think of four more years of toddler tantrums, revenges, middle school girl like spats, the drama, the constant scandle, the worship of dictators, the possibility we could be a country led by a dictator.....

    1. Never mind Strayer, how much ill will around the world was bred by his term in office. He alone was quite responsible for the world to view America in a rather different way to the how we did in the past.
