I am joining in with Sami and others for Monday Mural.
I have many mural photos yet to be seen. Not all are great. This simple mural is the oldest in my folder so best to use it. It was freezing cold in May a couple of years ago, like 12 degrees, when we stayed in Lorne and I took this photo. Riding a dolphin is kind of cute.
It has a cool tone to it. I quite enjoy looking at it

ReplyDeleteLovely colours too for a seaside town too. Street art contributes so much to Melbournes lanes and community places
I was surprised at the amount of graffiti on the train ride from South Yarra into the city. I would have thought by now that a more intelligent imaginative form of self expression may have developed by those that feel it necessary. The other day I saw for the first time in a long time our councils Graffiti van. It’s manned by volunteers straight after school holidays
As for Rone mentioned in an earlier post His first name is Tyrone and he was born in Geelong .
He is an internationally acclaimed street artist.
I like it, the colours are soothing and who doesn't like dolphins?
ReplyDeleteI'm with River. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about Lorne a lot recently, but I have not visited since the mural was painted.
ReplyDeleteAppropriate for that area is the mural.
ReplyDeleteNice mural for the area. I like the colours and the dolphins. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew.
ReplyDeleteSome murals are really artistic. When they are nice I like them because they cover an ugly empty wall !
ReplyDeleteThe only way you would get me riding a dolphin is if it was equipped with a saddle and reins.
ReplyDeleteI felt cold just looking at that child on the dolphin. It's stunning, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute mural. How great that you were finally able to use the image!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a child's dream. Sweet.
