At times I hear a song I like coming through the car's sound system being played by Phyllis' phone. I don't really expect most of you to like the music.
My first discovery, and I am repeating a previous post, was Dua Lipa. I'd never heard of her until I heard Phyllis play her music. I love hearing Phyllis singing along when he is in the shower.
Always learning, as I composed this post I came across a Japanese word that is often used to describe sex or rather lack of between married Japanese couples. Yep, I feel rather mendokusai about 'the biz'.
I quite enjoyed the video for Training Season. My late eighties playlist included a Paula Abdul cassette. lol Be well!
ReplyDeleteI have heard that Dua Lipa before but don't recall where, maybe at the twins house, it's okay for listening but not something I would learn the words for. I didn't like the others.
ReplyDeleteUm not a fan of modern music. I'm stuck in the 60's and 70's.
ReplyDeleteMy parents didn't understand the music of my youth, my grandmother did, because she had lived long enough to know every generation has those feelings about the music of the next generation.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear someone singing along with pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI made it about a minute into each song. I'll stick with Simon & Garfunkel!
ReplyDeleteI know none of that music, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteWe bonded with Donna Summer and Taylor dayne and that music will always remain evocative and who could forget. Diana Ross singing triumphantly I'm coming out? Now. I suppose the music is reflecting their lives. Hope so anyway. Enjoy your day, Andrew
ReplyDeleteI am with Diane, I prefer older music. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey were OK songs.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirk. One kind of positive comment. I try to keep my mind open about music of the yoof.
