Just once...

Will there be a future when I won't wake up to listen to the ABC ten minute 7.00am radio news bulletin without it beginning with "US President Donald Trump...".

  1. I always ALWAYS wake up with the alarm ringing, just as the ABC 774 News Radio starts its news service. But I keep my finger on the button, just in case they start with "US President ..."

There is only other radio station I listen to, always in the car: ABC 1026 AM, Melbourne.

  3. How about "US President Donald Trump is confirmed to be suffereing from aspiration pneumonia and has been placed in an induced coma"

have no fear, my friend, he can't last forever. The question is how much chaos can he create as we wait.

  5. It will happen, Andrew but we don't know just when. We don't turn on the radio in the mornings or anytime for that matter, we read news on the internet if we want to, then listen to the 6.30pm news on Channel 7, our local news.

  7. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I just hope he's not assassinated because then he would be sanctified by his followers!

  9. There is a fairly new channel on the BBC. Ru3 gentle soft music, though it can be a bit monotonous if you leave it on all day.

  13. It will happen. Unfortunately not soon enough. Never in my life have I literally wished for someone to die and yet, here I am, on the verge of 69, with a good bottle put away to celebrate that news.
