    I saw that on the news while I was washing up the dinner dishes.Don't remember what he is arrested for but he probably deserves it.

      River, he was petty crim. Stealing from shops, not paying, paying with stolen credit cards etc,

    That has become a famous internet meme, in Australia, at least.

    Another Australian meme I've noticed references to lately is "the front fell off" and "outside the environment." Too cumbersome to post a link but if you google these two phrases you can find the original. This one seems to have spread internationally, maybe via engineering circles.

    The late John Clarke appears as Senator Bob Collins, who came to a sad end.
