Music hath charm to soothe the savage beast?
ReplyDeleteMale lion asleep.
ReplyDeleteGood gentle ‘music soothes the beast’ mural. The blue background certainly sets the scene
ReplyDeleteWhen were you in Moe?
No wonder I didn't recognise the location. I stopped off for lunch in about November 2024 on my way to East Gippsland.
DeleteIf that really is from Congreve, the bride does not look to be in mourning. She looks serene.
ReplyDeleteWelp...I wonder if it is too late to take up an instrument, being as πΌπΆπ΅πΆπΆπ΅ I have managed to aggravate the snot of of everyone already?
ReplyDeleteYes there is a story. It is about a lass called Sandra who thought she could charm a pair of lions with her flute playing. It worked for half an hour or so until the lions got hungry and ate her. This tragic event brought tears to her grandmother's eyes but fortunately she had seven other grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteHer instrument is putting one lion to sleep but not the other. Proof, I guess, that such creatures taste in music is not uniform.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree one hundred percent. Thank you for sharing.
DeleteThere always a story.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said "Music Soothes the Savage Beast". It's a very nice mural, I do like lions.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice mural. Maybe the story is her playing to keep all quiet.
