Flights

I confess I am not great with a camera, still or video. I did capture this video of planes on Australia Day.

Then there were plane flyovers for the Australian Grand Pricks Prix.

  1. But why? Armed forces showing off at your/our expense. I suppose paid for already so why not. But why encourage them?

    1. Look at it as extra practice, I suppose, but history is littered with examples of flying displays going very and horribly wrong.

  2. You did a good job filming them. I grew up around the air force and then married a pilot, so lots of air shows in my time.

    1. Thanks Pixie. I would get bored with seeing many air shows, like I have with fireworks.

    1. Thanks Diane. I think I've done it better in the past with a proper camera, only because I can hold the camera more still with my shaky hands than the phone. But my phone deals amazingly well with photos taken with shaky hands. I guess you have a few shaky hands where you live.

  9. Yes, it's extra training and gratifies those who appreciate it. I'm not too politically correct to appreciate the military albeit ours is now in the hands of an idiot madman. So that's not good, but I appreciate the people who serve
