I've made no bones about New York not being my favourite city. Nevertheless, our arrival to JFK airport from Toronto's Pearson Airport was seamless. If I was on my own, I would have caught public transport to our digs on Fortieth Street in Manhattan, but I had Ray to consider, so we caught a cab. I remember being underground for a time, which I now think was driving under East River.

I've only ever seen New York on TV and that's enough for me.
ReplyDeleteRiver, I found it a very interesting city, but I can't say I really liked it. It is a fairly easy city for tourist.
DeleteFor me, for some reason, the Ronald Reagan airport in Washington was more confusing than the JFK Airport in New York. I remember quite easily getting a cab to my hotel in New York.
ReplyDeletePradeep, as I can't remember anything about JFK Airport, so I guess it was ok. Newark was not alright at all, quite horrible.
