These bronze poppies have been installed at the yet to open underground Anzac Station, which is close to the Shrine of Remembrance war memorial. This photo was published by The Metro Tunnel Project. Nice to remember the fallen in all the hideous wars, and sadly with wars ongoing. Especially thinking of the Ukraine.

It is a wonderful building, and quite upgraded since you would have seen it, and all very tastefully done.

ReplyDeleteI was in Petstock at 11 am Amazingly the Last Post came over the loudspeaker. Everyone in the shop stopped where they were. I shed a quiet tear . Life then resumed . Respect
