Flattery works

Phyllis asked me for my fried rice recipe. He makes his own fried rice but it is quite different to mine. I put rather some effort into mine, but honestly, I am over cooking anything. However, with some flattery I will get around to cooking fried rice upon request. A few days notice that I have to cook it is good.

I typed out the recipe for him today. He loved it. "I will keep it forever, Andrew".

  1. Sounds pretty good.
I would need at least a week's notice to do that amount of cooking. I just open a packet and chuck it in a pan.

    1. To be more precise, imported long grain rice. Growing rice in Australia is not a good thing to do.

  11. Precooked rice is less delicious but it only takes 90 seconds in the microwave. Then you can add cherry tomato, peas, corn kernels, or any other colourful vegetables you want, add the fish or chicken on top of the rice to soak down, then leave in the oven to be ready for dinner.
