Strawberry? Kind of...

We are supposed to have a strawberry coloured moon tonight on the 11th. It looks very white to me. But two nights ago, I saw the moon with a strawberry coloured halo and naturally I took photos. I also used the camera but I could tell the phone photos were better.

  6. Instead you got a moon bow. Strawberry sounds too cute for a moon. It should be blood moon that raises wolves and vampires

  7. I adore photos of the moonlit sky with clouds, and of course the moon and sky themselves in real life. These are nice Andrew! If I have never mentioned it before, but I like your header. I assume it is the view from your apartment. I really enjoy seeing all the activity underneath my window, seems like you do too. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for your always interesting comments and posts, aloha

  10. How many different types of moon are there? I might just invent a few new ones... The Cheese Moon, The Biscuit Moon and The Moon of Lost Gnomes.

  15. The moon has many names, not to us I suppose but to the native people of America and Canada. Good photos though you were lucky to capture them.

  16. I was out before sunrise on Wednesday, the moon was very red/pink, and I was driving and camera was in the trunk of the car.
