Monday Mural

Along with Sami and others, here is my mural for this week.

The fantabulous Mirka Mora created this mosaic work at Melbourne Flinders Street Station. Part of it is now covered up by the gambling venue, Clocks, but most of it is still visible. It has since been 'touched up' since Mirka first created the work. The ever so wicked and talented Mora first.

  2. Are you telling me they put a casino in front of that? Tear it down!

  3. Thank you for the link to a fascinating woman. I had heard of her (mostly through her links with John and Sunday Reed) but knew very little. I will have to explore further. I agree with Kirk's comment.

  6. Fantastic and colourful mural. What a pity about the casino in front of it. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew. Will have to read up about this artist as I had never heard of her.

  8. I had a few Mirka Mora blog posts to share with you, but they were there yesterday and gone today :(((( I don't understand. Do people dislike her enough to ruin good writing?
My blog has a new name now, but that didn't seem to help retrieve Mora.
