Sister aims to swim in every Victorian public swimming. She ticked a couple more off this summer and posted mural photos at two different pools on Brag Book.

I like the first one best. Very tropical.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed, JayCee.
DeleteLove the bird one very much
ReplyDeleteYes, that one is good Roentare.
DeleteSis doesn't prefer beaches? The first mural looks like a very Australian beach, complete with large waves and fishes.
ReplyDeleteI think she does Hels, as she lives a ten minute walk from the beach and swims often enough there. She was an activist who worked to stop the closure of local swimming pools.
DeleteThat's a fascinating goal. :) Many years ago I set the goal of one music concert a month. Those were good times, even if I went solo. And my husband had not yet gone deaf in his left ear, so he attended numerous shows with me.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice goal, Darla. I guess you made it.
DeleteNice murals!
ReplyDeleteJackie, not special but nice.
DeleteMakes me feel like I want to swim! Thank you for sharing. Andrew, aloha!
ReplyDeleteResist the urge, Cloudia. My last attempt wasn't great.
DeleteAh, summer!
ReplyDeleteKirk, it hasn't been too hot, with only a few bursts of extreme.
DeleteHow many Victorian swimming pools does Australia have?
ReplyDeleteI think I misunderstood. Victorian doesn't refer to an eracin this case. We are talking a territory! Duh! And the answer is 286. How many pools has she done so far?
ReplyDeleteDebby, yes my state, Victoria. Just guessing, but it would be over half I should think.
DeleteHow many public pools are there in Victoria? If there aren't enough to suit Sister she could branch out to other states. I love the murals, especially the first with the little fish. If I ever have an above ground pool, I will have that painted around the sides.
ReplyDelete286 River, as Debby says above. She has swum in Adelaide pools and New South Wales pools.
DeleteYour record with pools is not great. There are floods in Queensland. I don't think floods in Adelaide would help.
Well good one your sister, should be fun travelling all over your State for her.
ReplyDeleteNice murals.
Margaret, she really does get around. I can never keep up with her.
DeleteThe last one appears to be a platypus. Nice of your sister to send you photos of the murals she comes across. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew.
ReplyDeleteSami, yes it's a platypussey. She posted them on FB. I just stole them and used them for my own benefit.
DeleteI hope that private owners of swimming pools have been warned that your sister is coming. Is she aware that some big homes have guard dogs?
ReplyDeleteThat will be Phase 2, YP. She has made a start by swimming in my pool.
DeleteColourful murals to cheer the onlooker, always more interesting than a blank wall.
ReplyDeleteAlways JB, always.
DeleteMurals raise the mood of some people instead a dirty white or grey wall !
ReplyDeleteThey certainly add color.
