Monday Mural

I'm joining with Sami and others for Monday Mural.

I'd be surprised if I haven't posted these before, perhaps on my old blog, but they do look fresh so perhaps they are quite new. Maybe in Little Bourke Street.

  1. I don't recall seeing them before and really like them. The man looks a tad worried about those stormy seas - and the gulls not at all.

    1. I so agree Hels, and our city is very close to the sea.

  12. I don't see fear in the man's eyes. I see a wariness, a clear acknowledgement that he is not in control of the waves, combined with the quiet confidence that the storm can be (and will be) ridden out. Which is an apt analogy for our lives, isn't it?

    1. It is a good analogy Debby. Riding out the storm(s) in life is a constant.

  14. Nice looking mural. Painting huge murals like that must take some planning.
