I'm joining with Sami for Monday Mural.
Sparkling Merlot may be able to tell me the location of this mural.
This one is at Epworth Hospital in Bridge Road, Richmond. You have to embiggen it to see the detail. Nice.

I've been so busy being a retired person, along with answering blog comments and reading blogs, I haven't had time to write a post f...
Apparently I was born in the Epworth. I don't remember the details :)
ReplyDeleteHels, I expect your mother said, 'that was difficult' and nothing changed about you being difficult from there on in. Really, I am sure you were an angel child.
DeleteI do love to see murals across the country and the world. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure EC. Some murals are really amazing and thanks to those who paint them.
DeleteEpworth hospital actually has this art installation. That is very good.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see Roentare. I am sure you are very familiar with it.
DeleteI like that second one with so much to look at.
ReplyDeleteRiver, there is if you blow it up.
DeleteThe first one is dainty.
ReplyDeleteDainty is a good word Margaret and describes it.
DeleteI am constantly amazed that artists can paint such huge works. Their brains must work in a very different way to other people's.
ReplyDeleteYes JB. How do the see the large perspectives and translate to a mural?
DeleteThe first one is simple but quite pretty and the second one has lots of colour and details. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew
ReplyDeleteThanks Sami. No end of murals here.
DeleteWhat a contrast. The first is so light and delicate, and the second has such BOLD color, detail, and subject matter. Great contrast, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteThank you B&E. Both seem to be worthy of pushing a button on my phone.
DeleteBrightening an otherwise dull space
ReplyDeleteAs so many murals do.
DeleteNever too many murals!
ReplyDeleteI don't even have to hunt for them.
DeleteVery cool! I long to have a mural painted on the southern concrete side of our brick home. We used to have trees along that slope but had them cut down as they became a nuisance. I wish I had the talent to do it myself. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteDarla, as some people do here, you commission a muralist to paint one for you. It would be fun looking at the design beforehand and discussing what you want, and then seeing it come to life.
DeleteIt would be fun. But I'd rather save the money for other things. Oh, well. I should photograph some of the neat murals around here. Take care, Andrew.
DeleteI really like the 1st one.
ReplyDeleteQuite delicate isn't it Pat.
