Monday Mural

I am joining with Sami and others for Monday Mural.

This photo is dated November 2021. Clearly I have a reserve of mural photos. On second glance I found it quite interesting. There is a lot to see in the mural but if the artist is trying to say something, it passes me by. If the artist is painting for fun, that is fine with me.

  1. I am with you. Alton means nothing to me - but the mural is fun.

    1. EC, thanks for mentioning the name. You missed a high up 'a'. It is Altona, a beach side suburb here.

    1. I've just worked out Hels that the name on it says Altona, so it must be in Altona Village. Painter unknown.

  4. The letters spell ALTONA, a Melbourne suburb, though there is one in SA also. It's very bright and cheerful.

  9. Alton looks like quite a happy place to live. That may have been all he was trying to say. That or, 'if you're a miserable ass, you don't belong in Alton.' One or the other, probably.

    1. Steve, I am ashamed I did not work it out immediately. I am terribly for not looking properly at my own photos.

    1. Thanks. Yes, I would suggest that people who live in that area are generally quite happy with their lives.

    1. Thanks YP. Murals of Putin with a dagger through his forehead can be depressing.

  13. I immediately saw a scene with trucks, cars, and a village around a lake with a sailboat. It must be near a sea or ocean because of the fish. I also like the doodles the artist created, too. I really LIKE it a LOT.

    1. B & H, art can be a low form and still be so entertaining. I wish more people would take more notice of these temporary works.
