I am joining with Sami for Monday Mural. I think this mural is in the suburb of Windsor. I don't normally like scribble on murals but 'pig' on an image of Trump is ok with me. The sentiments in the writing is not me, but I get it.

Travelling East, Part II
The lakes are very extensive and singing in my mind, 'a three hour cruise' alarmed me a little. Yes, most of you will get that. Bef...

This post will be all over the place, just as I am all over the place. I'm vacillating about going ahead with the carpet and painting. W...

Good to see Trump down with the wheelie bins where he belongs.
ReplyDeleteYP, maybe obliterated now by high pressure washing.
DeleteI think that is unfair to pigs - who are intelligent beasts.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I try not to get political. And sometimes fail.
EC, it is in our nature to be political. We know what we feel is right and try to match that to a party or leader.
DeleteI have seen that one and it is well deserved for a showing!
ReplyDeleteRoentare, I was in the area for another mural and it was a surprising little find.
DeleteStrange he would be ‘the chosen one’ seeing as how we had so many others to pick from here.
ReplyDeleteCathy, oh so true, like a couple of recent former Prime Ministers.
DeleteAn amusing mural - but I agree with Cathy. I could think of a few home grown ones. Maybe Trump was easier as their are too many of our own to choose from.
ReplyDeleteCaro, if I really hate them I may be personally insulting but I try not to focus on personal appearance. However, I will make an exception for Egghead.
DeleteNot at all nice like many of the other murals you show.
ReplyDeleteRiver, I did like the words if not the subject.
DeleteIt takes all kinds.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, too true.
DeleteSwine would be more like it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Kirk.
DeleteI would like to participate in this meme, but in Waterloo we have no murals only ugly graffiti. But in Brussels there are many and there is even a tour for tourists to see the best once. It's a long time I haven't been in Brussels, there are always strikes in the public transport, and going by car it's easy, but to find a parking space is almost impossible or you pay a fortune !
ReplyDeleteTry buying anything under biden's inflation in the US.
DeleteGattina, I like that cities are for people and not cars. Strikes are annoying but surely they don't strike so regularly.
DeleteDarla, while governments do have some influence on the economy mostly it is left up to the treasury or whatever it is called in various countries. Inflation at the moment is a problem in I think every western country and possibly more.
DeleteI give this mural two thumbs up.
ReplyDeleteVery good, Debby.
DeleteLOL -- wonder what's up with that blank square in his face? Must have been a sign on the wall when the mural was painted. Anyway, I had the same thought as Elephant's Child above -- calling Trump a pig is an insult to pigs.
ReplyDeleteGood point Steve. Perhaps that was where his brain fell out. God forbid the non porcine returns.
DeleteWhat an insult to pigs.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha I see I'm not the only commenter to say that!
DeleteYes, there seems to be agreement on that Jackie.
