Sami is back and so on with the mural.
I saw this mural just two days ago, and I thought I'd posted it already, but it is still in my mural folder, so I guess not. It's quite a large mural.
I haven't come across anything hilarious this week for a Friday Funny. Only the mildly amusing. From what I can see, as usual (see cap...
Wow. The detail is impressive.
ReplyDeleteYes, it looks fine, unfortunately marred by stuff.
DeleteChicken biryani? One of my partner's favourite meals.
ReplyDeleteI really like the mural and would like to know more about the woman in it.
EC, Kosov heated some up for me for lunch. Andrewww, did you like the chicken or biryani? How the f do I know how to tell the difference? I am used to Ray's curries and Indian food when out.
DeleteThis is a classic mural
ReplyDeleteRoentare, I am sure you must have seen it?
DeleteThe mural is stunning and the thought of chicken biryani made my mouth water. lol Be well, my dear.
ReplyDeleteWhatever I ate Darla, it was good. Thanks.
Delete~giggle~
DeleteThat woman's face seems very familiar ....
ReplyDeleteYour mother Bob?
DeleteWhat is all that rubbish hanging in front of the mural? She needs a clean view of the lane.
ReplyDeleteHels, we are talking about Fitzroy. Nothing is spotless there.
DeleteLooks like an album or CD cover.
ReplyDeleteIt does Kirk, and somewhat androgynous.
Deleteproduction bigger than Ben-Hur!
ReplyDeleteVery amusing. Images of the boys scuttling about. And I love your references!
Cloudia, cooking and eating is what we have to do, but for me there is little pleasure in it. They just love cooking, all the preparation and then the finished meal. They are 21 and on a fast learning curve about cooking (and cleaning up afterwards).
DeleteShe looks sad.
ReplyDeleteSad Diane, and perhaps disappointed.
DeleteHow in the world do artists create those huge murals? This one is stunning and detailed. But how?
ReplyDeleteStrayer, something I wonder about, translating what is in your mind to something huge.
DeleteVery nice face, looks familiar, rock star?
ReplyDeleteNot to me River.
DeleteI see I might be mistaken thinking that face is male and quite young, under 30 at least.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting River. I never considered it could be an androgynous male.
DeleteSad face but a nice one. Food sounds good.
ReplyDeletePretty good makeup, Margaret.
DeleteBeautiful mural Andrew, thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your multiple meals of chicken biryani :)
Thanks Sami. I am always grateful for any food served to me.
DeleteI hope your lodgers are as good at clearing up as they are at cooking. Looks a huge mural.
ReplyDeleteFun60, they make a disaster zone and then clean up afterwards. Not my way of cooking, but then I don't cook.
DeleteJ'aime beaucoup ce graphisme, c'est très réussi.
ReplyDeleteMerci. Je suis ravi que cela vous ait plu.
Deletewow ! That's real good, I like it. Must be a good artist who has painted it !
ReplyDeleteIngrid, I should have taken a look to see if I could see a name, but there was so much obstruction.
Deletehttps://streetartunitedstates.com/adnate-shida-melbourne-2012/
DeleteBingo Debby. I might have known Adnate was involved with a work of that standard.
DeleteA great way of improving an otherwise ugly wall.
ReplyDeleteAnd very ugly it would be, TP.
DeleteI suppose that she's (he's?) seen as being 'sultry', but really, what I see is someone giving me real 'stink eye'. Well painted, but really, it doesn't "do" anything for me. Unlike your 'lads', who seem to be doing quite a lot for you. AND cleaning up once they're done!
ReplyDeleteDebby, she doesn't look at all friendly, does she.
DeleteI don't see sultry, I see longing, "I want to belong but where do I fit?"
DeleteThat's amazing mural. I'd love to know the story behind it.
ReplyDeleteJB, I can only see that it is 11 years old, and as mentioned the artists were Adnate and Shida.
DeleteThat was a good find, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat.
