You can be a gay royal without being a queen.
Luisa Isabel Alvarez de Toledo y Maura, 21st Duchess of Medina Sidonia. Spanish.
Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria, heir to the throne in the Netherlands, and it seems like she is gay. Should she marry a same sex person, i thas been clarified she is still eligible to rule the Netherlands.
Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten. Obviously English.
These are ones widely known about. I am sure there are more. The post feels unfinished, my excuse being it was a big day yesterday as Phyllis graduated. Two and half hours of sitting on a hard plastic seat in 31/88 degree heat did me in.

Congrats to Phyllis. A great achievement. Gawd but that heat would have me certifiable.

Congratulations to Phyllis. They grow up so quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen the movie, "Red, White, and Royal Blue". It's a lovely gay, romantic comedy.
Well done Phyllis ... and well done Aunty Andrew
ReplyDeleteThose graduation ceremonies are killer on the butt.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Phyllis!
ReplyDeleteGreat news for Phyllis
ReplyDeleteWell done, Phyllis. What will he do now? Obviously not fly the nest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Phyllis!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Phyllis! And no disrespect to anyone but I do not care about personal identity. I want everyone to be well, stay safe, and enjoy a life full of hope, joy, love, and laughter. Blessings, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, were you not warned to bring a cushion and a mini esky with ice? Graduations do take forever, all those students and all the speeches. I don't have personal knowledge but have seen some in movies.
ReplyDeleteDo you know I am with Daria on this, I never want to categorise people into their supposed groups, they are who they are. Congratulations all round, now for the rest of life for Phyllis.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Phyllis for graduating, and to Andrew for surviving the ceremony
ReplyDeleteThe gays are everywhere!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Phyllis! This is an interesting post. Andrew. I'm still visiting my husband in care everyday. He is still loving but declining. I am growing everyday handling this. Life will go on and I know there are happy days ahead. It can just be very challenging. I'm grateful I can be there for him and give him comfort every day. Last week was our 25th wedding anniversary. The end of January will Mark 40 years since the day we met and have been together for since. Thanks for listening Andrew. I appreciate you. I just want you to realize why I haven't been visiting daily as I like
ReplyDeleteInteresting that Lord Ivar Michael Mountbatten was first married to a woman and had three children, before marrying his current husband. Not so uncommon, I suppose, but still interesting.
