I am joining with Sami and others for Monday Mural.
What can I find to use today. I peered down a lane.
Neither of those mural subjects look happy - the bottom one particularly. I am pleased that the top one at least has escaped the graffiti 'artists'.
Yes EC, the taggers forgot their ladder.
I quite like that emu.
The image is quite common around the city and other areas, JayCee. I've forgotten who the artist is.
That emu is drawn everywhere in CBD at the moment
Roentare, yes, but I think they are all older murals.
The whole area looks a bit sad.
Hels, perhaps not part of our so called 'laneway culture'.
A long commercial train kept me waiting the other day and I enjoyed the graffiti on many cars. :) Be well!
Darla, isn't that better than the usual drab colours on freight cars.
Thanks Andrew!
No probs Cloudia.
Interesting lane, the pink bird looks a bit unhappy. Is that an emu above him?
Yes River, an emu. I think the lower figure is female as it seems to have breasts.
It's a creature that top one, got a big fright.
I think you are right, Margaret.
I like the quirky Emu. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Andrew.
Not as good as yours this week Sami.
I like the sad pink one. Fits the place!
It does indeed Bettie, thanks.
Definitely looks like an Emu….a female one at that. After seeing the comment above about ‘the emu’ being everywhere around town at the moment, I had a look online and……look up Effie the Emu John Murray
Thanks Cathy. I am not familiar with the artist's name.
Cathy, the information is brilliant.
It's brighter than it otherwise would be.
Quite so JB.
Some days we feel just like the creature in pink at the bottom.
We do TP, but hopefully not look like that.
Yeah - you peered down a lane and saw yourself reflected in a mirror!
Quite possibly, YP.
Funny critters. I like them.
Thanks Deb.
I like these, Andrew.
Thanks Pat.
