AC/DC Lane is of course named after the famous rock band. I used to like their music when I was young. Not sure where my head was at.
Those mushrooms are magic 😉
So JayCee, they could be called magic mushrooms?
People can be ac/dc . . . 😶
JB, it was once a euphemism.
I like that mural and do find myself wondering whether AC/DC indulged in magic mushrooms. I suspect they did.
EC, they indulged in everything else so I suspect you are right.
Were the brothers called Andrew Colin Lane and Derek Christopher Lane? I am pretty sure that I once saw them on a late night music show.
YP, there's a good chance you did.
Mushrooms are the new treatment for depression. They kick-start your system or something. Microdosing is all the rage. Have a great week Andrew! Aloha!
Cloudia, micro dosing is big here too, with illegal products.
A very colourful and interesting mural. I didn't like AC/DC music either.
Diane, I did at the time but it just an annoying racket to me now.
I like the colourful mural. I assume it is alluding to a connection with AC/DC
Fun60, you made me think. The band's record company was Mushroom Records.
Nice mushrooms there in the mural.
Margaret, I thought it is a great mural. See my post edit soon to come.
I really like that second mural. My oldest daughter liked AC/DC for a while I think, though I may be mistaken, she liked so many.
River, your daughter would be my age, right? So we probably liked similar music.
Your age? No. She is only 52.
Well, if "Back on Black" is playing somewhere, I'll still stop and listen.
Kirk, wasn't that the name of an album rather than a track? No, I am wrong.
I kinda like the shrooms.
To eat Bob? I don't but they look good.
Those funny mushrooms used to grow in the fresh sod, one of my lawn mowing hippies got in deep trouble with those.
TP, I'd like to hear the exapanded version you lawn mowing, mushy eating hippies.
I had the same thought as Jabblog. Maybe it's a lane for bisexuals?I never understood the appeal of AC/DC (the band) either.
Loud and raucous Steve. Who knows what goes on in the dark in lane.
Love the mural but not really into the band although they are exciting, Andrew.
Pat, the band certainly generated lots of excitement.
I'm not much of a fan nowadays, either, but I appreciate their contribution to the genre. :D Be well!
